Short And Sweet 2+ years

Reviewed: Updated: Played on:Apr 19, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

I really liked this scenic neighborhood rec course. It has concrete tees and flat concrete tee signs with hole info. The course is well maintained and has the nice green Prodigy baskets. The course has short to mid-length holes, plenty of trees to shape around, and a nice lake for some fair water hazards.

Cons:

The navigation is a little wonky. When you pull into the parking lot you will see what at first might seem a little confusing, multiple tees that are not hole 1. Head into the park for hole 1 (Hint: It's by the baseball field). Hole 8 plays dangerously close to the parking lot which had several police vehicles parked in it. Do you D.A.R.E. a RHFH?

Other Thoughts:

This course put a smile on my face and was a welcome surprise on a recent DG road trip from Ft Pierce to Miami. Sure, it's not a gold level championship course, but not every course has to or should be IMO.

Nice place to get in some play! 2+ years drive by

Pros:

This is a nice course for the player new to the sport, well made tee pads, good targets. The limited space available is used well, and the park is clean and well maintained.

Cons:

The only con would be some fairways playing close together, but with a clear view of each hole it really shouldn't pose a problem.

Played here on Christmas Day. Seeing as I forgot my entire bag in Massachusetts, I played 2 rounds with a pair of Champ Aviars.

Ran into 2 other players that let me hop on their card. Good people.

Course was hard to follow at first, but once you get the layout, its pretty simple to follow.

Natural Teeboxes on this course are marked by poured concrete Teepad MARKERS. AGAIN, I would like to stress that there are NO TEEBOXES.

The 9 Prodigy baskets they set out we're in excellent condition. Finding the next tee involved a bit of googling until we got the layout down.

I would call Hole 5 this course's signature. 320' w a lake tracing the right side of the fairway. A row of trees protect a the left side.

Free to play, this 9 hole course has a little bit of challenge, but not enough to scare away new players.

3.1

Good Job PSL.
