Pros:
Has good Patriot Baskets.
Tee signs have distance listed
It's free to play
Bathrooms near hole 1 and 3 with showers
Cons:
Only 3 holes
All 3 holes are pretty wide open
Long holes for only a 3 hole course
Dirt tees
Other Thoughts:
Well, play here and over at Coon and you got a 9 hole course. That is the ONLY reason i can think of to play here unless your camping in the park.
This is 3 holes in a triangle around a group camping spot. Holes 1 and 3 really don't have anything in the fairway to throw around or though.
Hole 2 is very long at 644ft with rough on the right (lost my freaking disc in that crap) and some polls to navigate 1/2 way down the fairway. I played on memorial day and there were some cars/trailers parked on the edge of the fairway. (see pictures)
The best part about this course was the bathrooms with showers. Looking for my disc I was waste deep in poison ivy. After I finished, I grabbed a towel from my car and washed off all my exposed skin in the shower and now 3 days later, no poison Ivy.
Seriously, there is no reason to play here other than to bag it. It does not even have a good hole. The short little 6 hole course over at Coon Creek is much better and I only rated it a 2 disc review 3 years ago.
Would I play here again? Nope, not even if I was camping here. Might use a basket to practice putting. but there is absolutely no reason to even stop and play here if your driving by.
