Pros:

-There is a pond there and you actually throw directly over an arm of it. It is a short shot but the basket isn't far on the other side and with the wind blowing it might make a decent challenge. Also, I saw a kid catch a 2-3 lb small mouth bass out of the same pond if that interests you.
-Concrete tees, they are small but the holes are short so it doesn't matter too much.
-Signs and numbered DGA baskets make this course very easy to follow in a clockwise loop around the park with a few forays into the middle of the park.
-This small park has the pond, a tennis court, an impressive playground, and a parking lot all within a city block
-There are no courses too close to here so this course fills in a big dead zone in SE SD for disc golfing.
-I liked holes 3 and 4 which were located in some trees along the edge of the park. They are not too long but still provide a bit of a challenge.
-Some ace runs here.

Cons:

-The course is designed well but it still could be considered a little cramped. You might have to watch where you throw a little bit.
-South Dakota is windy!
-They mounted the signs right into the center of the tee pad. That makes any run up kind of hard. Good thing this course is short so you don't have to throw too hard.
-Overall, this course is short and made more towards the beginner. That is good for this part of the state where there aren't going to be too many established players.

Other Thoughts:

This course starts right on the east side of the park next to the tennis court. I parked in the parking lot and played the holes out of order and that worked just fine too. It loops well. I am really impressed with how they fit 9 holes in here with all the other activites. If you are traveling by on highway 44 this course is worth a stop. Even if you don't like it, this course doesn't take long to play.
