Pros:
Bicentenial Park is set in a "no frills" park in rural NW Pennsylvania. The park is fairly large, but is jam packed with activities. Unfortunately, there really isn't enough room for a disc golf course, and this layout definitely shows it.
+ This is a pretty new course, so all of the tee signs and baskets are in great shape.
+ There's good variety in distance, with holes ranging from 191' to 565'.
Cons:
- Out of all of the courses played to date, this is hands down the most dangerous and irresponsible I've seen. Every hole has some sort of unnatural hazard to avoid. Most of the time it's ball fields (which were all occupied during this round). When it's not ball fields, you have bleachers, pavilions, picnic tables, and a playground. All nine holes have some sort of danger aspect.
- Even if you take away these hazards, the course is flat and mostly open. Not really a signature hole to speak of.
Other Thoughts:
This review might come off as a bit harsh, but my honest opinion is that this course has "pedestrian injury" written all over it.
If you do come out and play, just be aware of your surroundings. Try to skip holes with park goers in the fairways.
