Driggs Has A DG Course!

Reviewed: Played on:Jun 13, 2023 Played the course:once

Pros:

This is a weird course. You start by walking past the skate park and into the forest up a little hill to reach hole 1 which without Udisc I probably would have never found. Hole 1 is a hyzer to a slightly elevated baskets. Hole 2 plays through the trees to a basket in the open. From here is where the course really opens up and you starting throwing open drives into the sage brush littered landscape. This is also where the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains happen.

Cons:

Aside from a few holes that have trees lining both sides this place is open and also short. Holes 1 and 2 are kind of the best and then it tails off and gets boring most of the way. I played this thing in the middle of June and hole 1 was almost completely submerged in water and the fairway for hole 2 has ankle to knee deep water in it the entire way. On a cool 60 degree night mountain snow run off is not the most pleasant thing to walk through especially when you're not prepared for it.

Other Thoughts:

This is a typical park course with all of the typical park course flaws. It's slightly more rugged than that though. If you're on your way to the Tetons or for some reason you need to be in Driggs this is a stop you can make I suppose bad to average disc golf is better than no disc golf. If you're expecting miracles lower your expectation.
