Pros:

- Good size and design of holes considering limitations.
- Relatively open, pro for beginners
- Good basket placements
- Easy to find course, right off highway
- No water hazards
- All baskets are in good condition

Cons:

- Not well kept, trash on course
- Dry and dusty, lots of prairie dog holes
- Lack of vegetation can lead to hot & windy conditions at times
- Signs are deteriorating (or missing)
- No maps provided (online walk-through/map recommended before playing)
- Only 9 baskets for 18 tees

Other Thoughts:

9-hole course with 2 tee-boxes per hole making it 18-holes.

Easy to find course, right off the highway. It's open and minimal trees and/or obstacles make this course great for beginners and can be challenging at times for intermediate players.

If you like beer, there's a brewery next door (check times for when it's open).

Navigation is suffering. There was an attempt, but the signs are deteriorating and/or missing. Like others have mentioned, do yourself a favor and walk-through an online pictures or map before playing to familiarize yourself with which tee boxes go to which basket.

6/14/20 - Course may have less trash once the brewery is open again (assuming they do most of the trash cleanup). If you go in the meantime, take a small bag with you and pick up a few pieces of trash while you're there.

A tad messy and disorganized 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 27, 2016 Played the course:once

Pros:

-Located north of Aurora area and is on the way back from the airport and was worth a stop in
-Located at the actual Dry Dock North Dock location so you can grab a beer before or after playing!
-Dry Dock location also sold discs inside for purchase to play with as well.
-Cool theme with a boat in the middle, ropes, barrels

Cons:

-Layout was very zig zag which would make it hard to play if others are on the course and not hit them.
-Land was ungroomed and very weeded and muddy with lots of puddles (probably a bad time to go after the rain)
-Many of the signs are faded or broken making it hard to navigate to the next hole
-Really only a 9 hole course but there are additional hole pegs to make it an 18-hole course

Other Thoughts:

Dry Dock is my favorite brewery and had to stop by on the way back from the airport and check out the brewery and this location. Was hoping for more but perhaps since it was still the end of winter and it had recently rained a lot, the course was muddle with a lot of puddles and was heavily weeded and ungroomed. I got lost trying to get to a few of the holes and the signs were faded and some were knocked off and broken. I wouldn't drive all the way up there to specifically play there again, but if coming home from the airport would be worth a stop by to grab a beer and then throw around. It was very cool that they had discs for sale at the brewery as well!
