Aesthetic-- plays in the side woods and around a retention pond on the campus of a high school. The woods had many intersecting paths that I assume were/are regularly travelled. I would watch for non-DG'ers.

Baskets-- new DGA's (I think) could use a little orange tape or flags to denote where they are in the woods on some holes. Overall, in nice shape and very visible.

Teepoles-- help to guide you to the next tee but offer nothing else. Locals (?) have drawn a rough shape of the hole on the top of each pole.

Routing and nav-- pretty easy. just follow the path and typically, the next pole is visible from the previous basket.

Challenge-- This is an extremely short course, like, just barely breaking 1000' course. the lines in the woods are pretty well defined, straight. #3 offers a little variety as you throw out of the woods and towards the retention pond.

Tee areas-- tend to be marked by logs on either side of the "box" but they are rutty and have stumps a lot of the time and although not much run-up is needed here it would be nice to be able to follow through on some of the longer looks.

My worry with this, and any super short course, is that this will attract huckers with their Meijer bag bags and r-pro bosses to try to get as many short woods hole aces as possible, drink their hamms and smoke as much as possible on school grounds. The West Michigan disc golf scene is full of really great people but there are also a very significant amount of "monkeys" that will go out of their way to destroy a course for fun. That is my fear for this course. Please take care of this little fella... he needs our guidance!
