Great course in its infancy. 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Nov 3, 2019 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

This is a very good course that will become amazing with age. Very technical course if played with Mando's and out of bounds. Elevation changes, water hazards and rough a plenty. Please read the cons of other reviewers. They exist, but I think the designer is playing the long game. The tall wild roughs are part of a county grew water initiative. These roughs will grow denser and taller forming fairways. Several trees will become so large that they will be natural Mando's, but you can tell where they are intended. This really explains most of the tee pads that are said to be pointing the wrong direction. I also play all paths as out of bounds. The tee signs show you the path you are intended to take.

Cons:

Ok, I felt the need to defend this course but right now, it has issues. Hole one has an open field is right by the entrance. Many people lounge and play here. Hole two finished near the playground. Again the designed route is left around the hill. But right now there is nothing stoping you from going straight over it. Most holes have a similar issue, be really careful or play the hole "the way it was designed".

Other Thoughts:

I can't wait to play this course in 5, 10, 20 years. It will be so much fun. Right now it is a course with unclear rules or boundaries.

Good beginners course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 12, 2017 Played the course:once

Pros:

Fun, short course, plenty of birdie opportunities. Great practice for long upshots.

Cons:

Course is young, age will make it more challenging. A few blind shots and course is not simple to navigate.

Other Thoughts:

Fun course to play, leave the high speed discs at home.

New Short Course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:Jul 17, 2017 Played the course:5+ times

Pros:

-Course drains fairly well
-The baskets are nice since they are new
-Long concrete tee pads a plus
-Good course for beginners since the holes aren't very long
-Easy to find your way around

Cons:

-The rough is getting out of control but that maybe intentional
-Watch out for poison ivy and possible slithering critters
-Don't be left on holes 8 (water), 11 and 12
-Kids at playgournd, walkers and joggers can be a constant issue so be careful

Other Thoughts:

Not a bad course but will certainly change over time as trees
and brush matures. The course is well laid out so there isn't much wasted walking. There is no shade so bring water or protection from the wind so beginners should pick a calmer day. This course is closest to my house but I often venture out to throw longer holes.
