So I was watching the Clash DVD production of "Sunday - 2011 PDGA Championships" on youtube, and Billy stated that Will threw a lid 134 mph. If I heard wrong someone please correct me, otherwise this kid is a disc golf freak! I've had the opportunity to throw in the field with a radar gun a few years ago, and I was maxing out at 60 mph with max D drivers. 134 mph blows MLB pitchers away and is almost as fast as a pro tennis serve. Anyone else ever gone under the gun?

Billy misspoke. It was the new record, and I can't find the article now but it wasn't 134 mph. It happened 2-3 weeks ago, maybe the article is on the PDGA site or Facebook, I think it was at the PDGA championships

From the Discraft web site, in Robbie Bratten's profile he claims to have the unofficial guts record of 134 kph... I would not be surprised if Billy misspoke or was just trying to sell Will as a disc God.

Yeah that sounds way to high. Average for Ball Golfers on tour 110-115 with the longest fellas being around 140. I wouldn't think an arm could generate the same speed as a club but who knows maybe it can.

And is this arm speed or disc speed? I imagine for disc speed you would need a Chronograph like they do for arrows.

Y'all just need to go down to the county fair to the "Speed Pitch."
Give the operator $3 and when he goes to hand you the balls pull out a few disc and start chuckin' um.
