[Innova] For the love of the Bird! ..Teebird that is!

That's a very nice group.
I have a blue sparkle Teebird that is kind of gummy and pretty flat. This particular Teebird is actually on the overstable side, think halfway between a Champ Teebird and Champ Banshee. Is this normal for sparkle Teebirds or just normal variation?

Some older-ish nice ones

A couple old DXs, white 174g (dusty from storage and seems to want to stay that way), red 175g with the old bird stamp, first run black Pro 171g that's somewhat chalky and a white Special Blend 170g from the Hawaiian Open in January 2006. The two DXs and the Pro are CAL engraved.

I've been throwing the Glow Champ Birds from early 2011 which we got CFR for our Ice Bowl series. It's money.

No pic, but a plain old 150 DX Teebird yielded two of our three birdies at dubs last night. One was an uphill toss fading to a basket nestled in the woods (and on the edge of a cliff), and the other was a dead-straight downhill throw that faded to the basket.

Whenever I think about swapping the Teebird for something younger and sexier, it reminds me of why it has been in the bag for more than a decade.

I'm curious about this...

Will the Teebird be produced in the Jolly Launcher plastic (not as a Steve Brinster, but as a regular production run)?

Here are a few of my Teebirds. All get thrown but the near mint candy green and candy orange 11x KC Pros and the Ken Climo signed metal flake.
The 11x KC Pros

The Tls

2 of my nice 11x throwers, a KC signed metal flake, and my money 10x KC Pro

does anybody have the scoop on where to get jolly launcher teebirds? if they're out there, i need some. also, are they stiff like the brinsters, or soft like the rocs?

They are already out there. Not with a new stamp but the 12x stamp. I have seen them in the 166-172 range in the new Jolly Launcher. I believe that they ran the Brinster's with this new run because there wasn't an option to buy lighter than 170 in the Factory store. I have not seen the new plastic production runs heavier then 172. I think this was because all the heavy discs were stamped with the Brinster stamp.

Both of my JL Tb's have been stiff just like the Brinster's. They threw about the same. I just don't care for that plastic because it is too slick and I kept losing grip. You can tell the new plastic because of the way it is swirly in the rim. Plus, you can see through the rim.

So, I got a 175 DX Teebird and I took it out for the first time today. I'm not sure why I ever stopped throwing these. I'm now rethinking my entire fairway setup.

I went searching for a beefy Teebird to fill the hole due to my Glow Champ beating in. My local shop had both Brinsters and the new Jolly-Launcher Champs in stock. I couldn't see any difference in PLH or dome between them. I bought a pink Jolly and it's plenty stable; I'm really happy. Is there any real difference between the Brinsters and the new Jollys?

They should be the same

I have both in my bag & they are pretty much the same, if anything I'd say the Brinster is just a hair more OS.

If anyone has any old kc pro or ce teebirds or 11xs that are worn out and taken out of your bag, I would greatly appreciate a sale to me for a reasonable price.

I love me some teebirds. And an 11x KC Pro Teebird is my dream disc.

Quick question for you 'bird throwers out there...fresh out of the box, which make is the LEAST stable. At the moment, my only driver that I can count on to be dead straight is a 170 Champ Teebird that's been in the bag for a couple years. What 'bird could I pick up that would fly like this?
