Model Golfer

That, and dedication to the sport that will actually manifest into accomplishments. She already has higher placings than 99% of the people on this forum, so haters can keep hating.

Because it's so hard to place first when there are only two, three or even only one person in your division. Her accomplishments at large tournaments are impressive indeed, but there's not much competition in the women's divisions. Unfortunate as it may be, it's the truth.

Yea she has been making the transition to open and she is a great player and wears what she is comfortable in, if you don't like hot worn playing disc golf then there is really something wrong with you.

I truly mean no disrespect to Holly and as I didn't even introduce myself and actually meet her at the G&L Clothing Challenge in Des Moines, I have no character reference to base my judgements on. My point is, that someone sees a model playing disc golf and all of a sudden she's the best thing since sliced bread. However, my impression, as well as some other people that were at that same tournament, was that she cared more about the way she looked rather than the tournament that we were there to compete in. Yes, she's a committed player and has won several tournaments, I'll give her that. But why is everyone getting so hyped about about another "hot chick" out on the course. If a company uses her for marketing purposes, it would probably be a gold mine, but Catrina Allen could be used in a marketing campaign and also bring in a lot of business.

I'm sorry if it seemed like I was simply stating that coordinated outfits are unacceptable, but as I previously said, I too like to look good when I play and coordinate my outfits. But changing bags to coordinate seems a little ridiculous to me.

If you all want to continue to bend over to just another female disc golfer, feel free. But she's just that, and until I see efforts to really grow the sport for women rather than just gain attention, I'm not going to gush over her.

She beat your score, didn't she? :D

So, because she may not be AS dedicated to the sport as you, in your opinion and apparently observations, you have to not only bash her appearance, but also tell the rest of us that we are "bending over"...

No worries Tony... the next time you make a thread about something, I'll be there to tell you how imperfect you are too. :)

Randomly clicked on her from innova's fb page one time i was like whoa a model playing disc golf funny that shes getting some attention now. Im slightly depressed that her bh is better then mine :( owell there is work to be done.

Yup ur completely right. Holly doesn't introduce people to the game when she practices her putting at runway shows. Who cares what she wears and what color bag she uses. If she keeps winning and increasing her rating as quickly as she is it definitely means that she is just out there for attention. Im so glad she is from Wisconsin and that I am too because she is around and does a lot of tourneys and when she keeps winnings them and rises up all the haters gonna hate and all us who believe in her are gonna keep holding our heads high.

holly is definitely the real deal and more power to her! awesome that she brings her sense of style to the course.

i first heard about holly when some guy on FB who had bought some of my art in the past somehow thought that holly was my wife! (my wife is also a serious disc golfer, tall and pretty, etc) i don't think the guy posts on here but he was stalking the s**t outta me trying to get more art!

how he knew what my wife even looked like in the first place still puzzles me.

You said he was a guy on Facebook. I'm guessing that your Facebook profile states "married to *insert wife's name*". If she's as pretty as you say he probably wasn't stalking you for art though...

I'm a hand model, mama. A finger jockey. We think differently than the face and body boys... we're a different breed.

...people are so nice and everyone I meet is willing to share their throwing tips with me....blah, blah blah... It must be so hard being a hot girl.

Turns out DG is just like any other sport(tennis, softball, indy car racing...) the attractive person gets tons of attention.

I'm not trying to be a hater, just stating the obvious.

Ya those are your opinions and that's it. Right or wrong. Who cares if she switches bags between rounds. You are just pointing out stuff that doesn't really matter. Not what you wear, throw, or if ya change bags. The only thing that mattes are the scores. It is about the person under that skin who has the drive and motivation to accomplish goals. I think she has proven that in her career and life. Now if she changed bags between holes that's something different.:)

I am definitely not a hot girl. I'm a 40 year old less than hot man who just took up the sport about six months ago and I have found the people I've been meeting on the courses very nice and willing to share what they know.

If what you're stating is obvious, I would suggest it's not the sport but perhaps those who play it where you're from.

YOu have to ask for help these days to get it. She is comfortable asking for help which is something I rarely see from male throwers. Her getting help probably has more to do with this than her looks.

Fn hilarious talk here. She's a model, it's her job to look good...not to mention she probably enjoys fashion. Nice judgement on someone you've never met.

Is her attire approved for competition? Oh it is?

THEN WHO CARES WHAT SHE WEARS!
