Dave Feldberg resigns from PDGA Board

Word is they'll be first polling their most loyal fans---the ones willing to nickname themselves after Innova products---but limited to those who have shown willingness to personally volunteer as board members in the past, so it shouldn't take too long.

Please note, I will not be joining the PDGA board....

We ask all members to join with us in thanking David for his years of service to the association.

Lance Armstrong did tons but I don't see so many defending him.

What if he tried to manipulate the ratings so that Will wasn't player of the year, would you overlook something like that?

That first post is direct copy from the PDGA website, not the OPs opinion. The "all members" is all PDGA members. Click the link in his post. If you're not a PDGA member, I guess you're free to hate all you want.

Are you saying that's why Dave stepped down from the board? If you're speculating, let's take it to an extreme. What if he murdered kittens and puppies? What if he threw babies off overpasses? What if he is the person responsible for the hole on 8?

lol, that is not even close to being comparable.

I wish it would stop raining, so I could go out and throw, instead of stuck here reading this stuff!

This is sorta old news. It was discussed back in another thread a while ago. Also, in case no one noticed, Feldy's name had been removed from the Board of Directors Contact list some time ago. I looked it up back when he announced going to Lat64.

I'm the OP. I merely cut and pasted the PDGA announcement.

I think what it is, is that some people don't get along. I know a lot of very nice people but me and them don't 'click' persay. Not that I hate them or they hate me but because of their personalities and my communication between them we don't get along. That's how I see this as, Dave's a nice guy but it's possible he rubs some people the wrong way. It's not his fault you can't please everyone and if you do you end up not being happy yourself. I'm guessing this change is what he wanted for himself to be happy and continue to enjoy the game. So I say good for him, plus he's doing well in Vegas ATM so those new discs must be working out.

link?

Feldy got a big win today in Vegas. Less to worry about means he plays better apparently. Watch out world and everyone who cut ties with him, he is out to make you think you made a mistake. Then again, less worries means better play.

Good to see the borg playing lights out again. I'm curious to see how much of his success this season translates into publicity for lat64 among the masses of non tournament players I see on the course and in the local club

Dave owes not a single thing to anyone or anything other than to get to a point where he can enjoy playing disc golf, and the life aside of it; maybe some people on this board could massively benefit from doing the same.

I have read a couple of times on this site and heard once in person about DF owing things to people, maybe one of the reasons for some of the hate.
