[Recommend] Sleeper Discs...

Besides all the big players in the Disc business is there anyone out there that can recommend something different from lesser known or lesser used companies that is worth trying out..

I hate to overlook the other guys but most my local shops around here are selling Innova, Discraft, Westside, Lattitude, Dynamic & Prodigy..

Gateway and Legacy are both indepentent manufacturers and make some great discs.

Discmania...even though they are made in the same factories as innova their molds IMO are far superior.

Millennium has some of the best molds that come out of the Innova factory and it seems like they always get forgotten.

Their newest release the Aries (which is pretty much a mamba-x) is a great disc. It has a really steady turn out of a hyzer flip that glides out nicely before a solid reliable fade. For lower power throwers it'll be something they can get out really far and for higher power throwers it's a disc you can always get a steady turnover line without it flipping to fast or unpredictably. It took a while for me to really see it deserved a spot in my bag over some discs I've had for a long time but it's in there now.

yeah both their line/millennium and DGA for DC are the shadows lol.

Salient discs is also worth checking out. The antidote midrange is really fun to throw and they just put out 2 new molds the backdraft and vein --with others in the works I hear. Great plastic too!

Try a Discmania FD and PD...they are big here on the forum but I never see them out on the course.

Deity Discs Chimera. Had a chance to throw one that my friend had and I was pleasantly surprised. Plastic felt good in the hand and threw like a Wraith with more glide; later turn with good fade at the end.

Daredevil Discs, specially the Beaver and the Timberwolf. Don't own them myself but got a couple throws with a Timberwolf and a round with the Beaver and I'm thinking of picking up both myself... I will at least get a Timberwolf for sure.

One disc I miss a lot and haven't purchased again from my bag being stolen was a Legacy Bandit. One I had was a first run and it felt like a long leopard.

Disc mania and a few others are basically innova under a different companies name. Same molds. Try MVP, or you could go gateway for putters
