For mid range throws, I've used nothing but my pro D hawk and ive loved it but I may be time to go for something more durable. I'm looking for something with pin point control, something that can me thrown thru super narrow gaps. I'm not partial to any brand.

The Truth or Fugitive depending on how far you throw your mids. Lucid plastic in either will work just fine.

164-166 gram Shark3 Can power up or down really nicely and feels great in the hand. Plus it's champion plastic, so after it breaks in a bit it pretty much stays that way. My Shark3 is probably my go to disc. I know the ratings have it as slightly overstable, but backing down the weight really makes it go straight

Z Buzzz and Mako are both good suggestions. You can definitely throw the Buzzz with a bit more power, but the Mako is a nice truly neutral disc. MVP Tangent is another really good option.

I play a 175g rancho star roc for my longer mid game where I want the disc to sit down close to where it lands. I use a 175g star wedge for my go to mid. Great anhyzer disc, goes super straight or can hold a good hyzer line too. One thing about the wedge is that it will skip on harder ground, which can be good/bad. Just takes a bit of practice and you'll get used to it.

My friends use buzz ss, mako and gators.... just gotta pick your poison.

The best overall midrange in disc golf is the MVP Axis. It's versatile, accurate, durable, easy to range...everything you can ask for.

Some might call it a better Buzzz.
