Pro worlds this week

Ive been there a couple of times so far. As far as vendors go, all I saw was dynamic discs, will probably be going back today or tomorrow to get an interview.

Parking is pretty much placed all over the park, although if you have to park in the boofoo you will have some walking to do. One thing that I noticed is that most spectators had no idea where to go. They didn't hand out any maps of the courses and there was no designated place for people to spectate.

:edit: $4 per person to get in for the day.

Bart from discgolfflymart will be there, he's the groundskeeper

Bart running strong in 5th place in the grand master's division. I tied Bart on Lemon Silver on my last visit! Woot!

Yea, I'm just tired of bothering him lol. Not sure if he is selling discs or not. He was the one that supplied me with some worlds discs for a contest on my site. Been working with him quite a bit as of late.

I guess my main problem is that I can't walk, lol. I'll probably be up there tomorrow pretty early, will be putting up the video that I got later tonight. It's not going to be the best video, just peoples drives and puts on certain holes.

Just got back.

Freaking sweet time.

John Fowler and Nikko are like the opposite ends of the spectrum. Great fun to watch them play in the same group.

They got stuck on 14 waiting for a couple of groups to play out ahead of them and Locastro is needling John, "You got any putters that aren't 20 years old? I don't have a disc in my bag over 6 months old."

For those who haven't seen John play (I hadn't), his bag is well worn, his straps are barely hanging on by a thread, and Nikko is right, his discs all look 20 years old. He doesn't have a big run-up to tee off, he doesn't have a 10 minute putting routine, he doesn't look like he's going to be modeling for magazine ads, but man, he can freaking play! I hope to see him play a ton more in the future.

Anyone know if Juliana Korver retired? She was peddling around out there, sweet as can be, but didn't play. I would have liked to see her toss a couple of holes...

Juliana developed some mental issues to the point where she can't make a putt to save her life. She plays one or two tournaments a year now but helps out at Bowling Green and the USDGC.

Oh man, that's awful. I only talked to her briefly, but I was totally smitten (shoot, I was almost ready to go full on stalker - I admit it!). Hope nothing but the best for her.

Thats what Anthon does.. shoots so so... for us mere mortals super hot golf. Then he busts out some record breaking/setting type of round, just before it really counts, and doesn't pull the trigger. Let's see if he can keep it up this time.

Hehe. Good luck with that. She's been with Millennium Pro Shawn Sinclair for a number of years. They live down in Bowling Green.
