    "You Might Need New Discs"

I've been talking to a few people in-person about what might work best for me, and those are some of the ones they recommended. I'm having the best results with my stable-overstable disc, and I know that obviously with more speed, the more difficult it is to keep the disc from fading. I just...

    "You Might Need New Discs"

Some of the drivers I have been looking at to possibly check out in the future are the Innova Viking, Savant, Thunderbird, Orc, Invictus, Teebird3, and TL3. I know a lot of people were recommending more understable discs such as the Sidewinder and Roadrunner, but I'm not sure how straight of a...

    "You Might Need New Discs"

To those of you who mentioned it, I am going to go out to my home par-3 course hopefully before the weekend, and I'm not going to touch my Leopard driver at all. I should be able to get my shots on the fairway, if not just off-target, but not giving myself any "horrible" positions. If I can get...

    "You Might Need New Discs"

Certainly, Rastnav. The big reason I'm "considering" (once again, just a possibility) getting a higher speed disc is that the courses I play are 9-hole par-3's that have hole lengths from tight-curving 245ft holes to narrow 370ft holes, and even if I get my mids to go straight, a 170ft shot on...

    "You Might Need New Discs"

I am SO sorry that I cannot find who exactly posted the tip about "pouring the kettle" to get nose-down shots, but my throws are light-years better now thanks to it. So, whoever it was, thank you...! While I have been trying to fix my throw, I had come across the tip of "slow is smooth and...

    "You Might Need New Discs"

Thank you guys for your input yet again. I am getting better paths, so sometime in the near future, I'm probably going to record a second form video. Overall, my form feels a lot more stable, as I started rolling on my heel after the release instead of just letting my body's momentum carry me...

    "You Might Need New Discs"

Well, this thread exploded. For those of you who made comments about my throw progression, tips, advice, and anything else for beginners such as myself, I have read those and thank you for taking the time to post your input...! Just a little bookmark of my progress: My DX Cobra and DX Shark (my...

    "You Might Need New Discs"

Thank you guys for all your input. As you may know, I'm trying to get up to at least 150ft with my Aviar putter and anything beyond 200ft with my mids. I'm definitely getting somewhere. After a change to my grip, I can actually throw the discs the way they were meant to be thrown, following...

    "You Might Need New Discs"

I did notice my balance causing me to constantly throw anheizers, and thankfully someone a moment ago pointed out that my grip had no pressure on the top of the disc, which should help with both the release angle and keeping the disc nose-down. The balance part I'll have to work on as well...

    "You Might Need New Discs"

For those of you who asked to see the video, here it is: https://www.wevideo.com/view/1781442838 Once again, thanks for your comments. I really have been reading through them all and trying to absorb their knowledge and advice, so thanks again.

    Newbie Technique Critique

The camera angle was just what I had to work with, only place I could set it up outside while being able to throw out into a field. Really not sure. I just think about the throw itself and the disc gets propelled out of my hand, but there is also spin put on the disc so I'll have to check next...

    Newbie Technique Critique

I'm new and need to get better, but I unfortunately have had to rely on the resources of the Internet to learn anything in the sport. So, I'm voluntarily throwing myself to the wolves here. Please critique, give advice, point me to resources, whatever. Most of you have been playing for years...

    "You Might Need New Discs"

Thankfully, I just went out and filmed me throwing around with my Cobra, so I'm about to put them together and submit them for critiquing. I don't know what I expected to look like, and I don't look horrific, but I can't wait to finally start getting straightened-up...

    Bob Gardner Park discussion

This course has been back open for a bit now. You may have a group within 3-holes of you when the weather is nice. Watch for mud, since the rain and humidity can make for some slippery footing. Also, be careful around saw palmettos are other brushes since they can be rather sharp; go in to...

    "You Might Need New Discs"

Well, RoDeO... I might try out one of my friends' higher speed discs at some point, but settling for a 150ft mid throw is something I don't want to do. I've been out tirelessly trying to fix my technique so I can get the most out of the discs I have, because I want to be able to throw any disc...
