I didn't care for the Hornet. It wasn't much more overstable than a Wasp, and it wasn't burly enough for when I really needed a piggish Drone. I just didn't have any place for another tweener disc!

If you're comfortable with the speed of an Orc, the I'd recommend a more stable disc (you mentioned Avenger or Starfire) because they will fly different with the same throw. If you move to a faster disc you need to be able to throw it at the appropriate speed to make it fly right. A Wraith...
I love the Star/Champ Starfire but I didn't find them reliable once they beat in. I think the Avenger holds it's slightly-overstable characteristic longer.
