    What is your best round?

I have a shot a 40 at Lenora Park in Ga. It is a pretty easy wide open course though. Honestly I have probably had technically better rounds elsewhere but never that low of a score.

    tomahawk approach shots

I struggled for years with shots between 50-200 feet. I eventually decided it was time for something different and went with a tomahawk. I am now extremely good with tomahawking my orc for this shot and haven't looked back.

    Off-hand aces

When I hurt my elbow a few years ago I was forced to play lefty for about 3 months. After only a few rounds(less than 5) I got an ace on a downhill 277 ft hole at Lenora Park. Learning to drive came pretty quickly and easily, however I never was able to get putting down. I was still missing...

Review by darktoaster in course Oregon Park - Old Layout

2.50 star(s) Fun but sometimes gridlocked. The course is located in an attractive suburban park. I thought that the creek that comes into play on several holes was quite attractive and an interesting obstacle. It gives you something to worry about avoiding but if you do end up in it you can still easily...

    Oregon Park ~ Atlanta Georgia

I just wish the teens at Oregon Park weren't such idiots. The last time I was there I happened to join up with a guy and his 6 year old daughter. Three times in the round his daughter was almost hit with disc(within 2 feet of her, one within 6 inches of her face). I could believe how dumb...

    Going to Asheville from Atlanta

I will going to Asheville on a short trip with my wife and was wondering which course I should play either in Asheville or along the drive. The wife has given me permission to play at one course during the trip. So far it seems as if Richmond Hill in Asheville is the best choice but I am open...

Review by darktoaster in course East Roswell Park

4.00 star(s) Nicely Wooded Course This course is situated in a scenic and secluded wooded area in the back of the park. The holes make good use of the trees and elevation in the park which in turn places a premium on your ability to throw a variety of shots. If you like technical courses this is probably...

Review by darktoaster in course Lenora Park

3.00 star(s) Wide open rolling fields This course is great for beginners in the Atlanta area. Basically every hole is free of obstacles so it will allow you to practice throwing all types of shots and lines. The marked par is very misleading every hole on this course should be a 3. The holes marked par 4 and...

    [Innova] Innova Champ AERO ?

I had one that I unfortunately lost while throwing practice shots by a flooding creek. I loved that disc although I mainly used it as a driver because that is where I found it to be the most consistent. I would start it with a ton of hyzer and it would flip to flat and go perfectly straight to...

    More Shady Reviews

Bill I need to get back out to Alexander soon to see if I still hate it as much as I did when I first played it. Maybe the intense heat just had me in a crabby mood that day.

    Mid range disc advice

Regarding Glacier ridge metro park, I want to know who decided to call a 220 foot hole a par 4. I mean that is just crazy. Now on to the mid range question I absolutely love my buzz because it is a touch flippy and I can throw it really straight. If you like things a bit more stable Rocs are...

Team Craig gets 4th in Ace Race

Congrats I guess our team finished just in front of you guys. We had 4 aces and 10 or 11 metals. We really lucked out though, the team hit 3 aces in the last 3 holes. I was pretty sure at the start that a woman was going to win the whole thing. Most women that I have played with actually have...
