I think a lot has to do with the surrounding area and what golfers are used to. I live 20 miles from the Sabattus course but 99% of the courses in Maine are p2p. And I attribute part of that to me actually enjoying dg more. P2P was all I knew while learning to play and once I started traveling...
Never done any field work... Thought about it plenty but end up talking to friends and hitting the course. Only played like 2 solo rounds I think too. Usually run in to someone at the course that wants to play with me.

Things are sweet. Brother and I bought a couple and have 1 each to throw. We played the front 9 our our local course with these and a putter. Had to be inside the circle to use the putter. I hit the front cage on a roughly 250' hole with one. Glidey and stable, so much fun to throw.

Its about 300 to clear the water. Depending on the wind either a Star Destroyer or S-PD. Deuced it once.... Got my first tourney win in AM2 here years ago.
