Thank you both for all the info, so this is PFN Banshee with the patent numbers. Is it worth more than I paid for it? Or in your opinion will it increase in value in the next 5-10 years?
I was told that my Classic Roc was CE plastic and it has a very similar stamp (It looks like this disc http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v104/Weckman/IMAG0373.jpg).
you sure? its not the normal preflight numbers that say distance driver that are still around. I bought it at the same place I bought my CE Classic Roc years back..
Also while trying to research more about this problem I learned of potentially hazardous "Phthalate plasticisers", does anyone know if they use these in the production of disc golf discs and if so does that mean that my disc has become a potential health hazard?
Thanks for all the replies, so is there any way to restore the disc? Something I can put on it or at least something good to use to clean off the oil on the disc?
So I was looking through my disc stash and to my horror my first ever and favorite disc has started to "fingerprint". It's a CE Champion Classic Roc and its been sitting in my closet for about 6 months since I've retired it. It shouldn't really ever be that hot in the closet so I'm wondering...

But for now I think I'll just keep looking for another CCR.
I think I'm gunna have to stick with the Chief, I can't find the Chief OS in Evolution/Glow plastic. If the specs are correct here https://www.discnation.com/Gateway-Chief-OS-S-Series-Disc-Golf-Putters.html
then the Chief OS is also quite a bit taller than the Chief
Yea I saw that, I'm looking for champion equivalent plastic because its usually pretty windy at the courses I play and they seem to fight the wind a little better.
The Envy looks pretty close to what I'm looking for but the harp is definately too overstable. I throw my putts with a little anhyzer and like it to turn a little and fade back level. The opto pure might be too stable, the flight numbers on a classic roc show as 3 3 0 2 on the innova site.
The first disc I ever bought was a Champion Classic Roc, I've had the disc for about 10 years now and I think it's time to retire it. I've been choosing to use my Roc3 as a putter recently since it has the same flat top and small bead but it's just not working as well for me as it has a more mid...
