Review by KansasBoy in course Austin Ridge Bible Church

1.50 star(s) I only needed my putter. frequent benches at the tee pads fairly easy to navigate although the map was necessary at times. Not busy at all. Well shaded. I'm not a huge fan of the dirt tee pads. They were often unevenly warn, and make difficult holes even harder. I hated this course, but i'm not...

3.00 star(s) fun course Very technical shots required on most holes. Drives need to be on target and on distance. I really enjoyed playing this course. The fairways are not ridiculously tight just nicely challenging. I really like this course. Even though the holes are generally short, they are very well...

    [Gateway] Wizards

I've got a gateway magic high performance polymer (evolution plastic). I love the thing. Fits in my hands perfectly and nice and rubbery without being floppy. Takes a beating too. I was looking at a wizard the other day, and the plastic didn't feel the same. Might be gateway inconsistency, might...

Review by KansasBoy in course Onetangi Sports Park

2.50 star(s) Not amazing Nice park. Has 23 baskets and two courses laid out. Good use of hills. Quite a lot of elevation change and sloping pin placement. This made what is a relatively open course still challenging. For a relatively short course, it was still fun and entertaining mid-range practice...

Review by KansasBoy in course Parc Ignace Bourget

2.50 star(s) Interesting if you play the outofbounds for a small course in a small park, the holes are very well laid out to provide a lot of fun. This course plays in about 30-45 minutes, so I just played it 3 times and felt pretty satisfied. Friendly locals. Bob, who lives across the street actually came...

How long did it take to get your 1st ACE?

just got my first ace. I started playing in 2002, but took a few years off. I've been playing again for the past 4 years, and I just skipped a forehand into the basket on rosedale down under #15. I'm so happy.

I find your disc, but it's only got your pdga number.

Nice! It was an star excalibur. I hunted a guy down once with just a pdga#, but he had a unique name.

I find your disc, but it's only got your pdga number.

I find a disc. Just a pdga number on it. I think it's the guy two holes ahead who I see driving by in his car. I try to flag him down, but he just waves. So now I look up his name on the pdga website-fred smith. Awesome. There's a million of them in town. Wtf am I meant to do now? If you'd just...

Review by KansasBoy in course Poimena Reserve

3.50 star(s) Beautiful views. Stunning. Absolutely stunning views from this hillside north of Hobart. We stopped and stared numerous times. I'll post some photos when I get a chance. It was just amazing, and the fact that the course was fun and challenging made it even better. Nice hole set-up with a...

Review by KansasBoy in course Sydney Olympic Park Disc Golf

2.50 star(s) This a rather nice course just a short ferryride away from downtown sydney. I was pleased to have a chance to play in sydney. Maps available at a small information booth. Take a map since tees are a little hard to see if you're not looking in the right direction. Not the most spectacualar...

    Quick trip...anyplace to play?? Kansas...

I really enjoyed the course in Pratt, KS wonderful use of the park and available obstacles. It's a ways east of Liberal, but you won't notice since you just zone out in the incredibly flat landscape. You can cut north from there to I-70 and hit the course in great bend which i've never played.

Review by KansasBoy in course Centennial Park Course

1.00 star(s) Very bored and frustrated 18 concrete teepads and metal baskets. Very clean park. Very flat open park. Rather boring layout. Signs are photographs taken from the "teepad". These were taken with a zoom from the general teepad area, so they are not very helpful. The park is rather small with...

Review by KansasBoy in course Centennial Park

2.00 star(s) Take a map. Here are some links. 18 hole course situated in a large park. Concrete tee pads at all tees, and multiple pin placements at all holes. I was actually a fan of most of the hole designs. The course is fairly open with scattered trees and only a few tight fairways and gaps to shoot...

Review by KansasBoy in course Base Camp Adventure Lodge DGC

4.50 star(s) Most amazing course i've ever played If you wandered around arches national park and thought it would make a good disc golf course, then this is the course for you. The course winds over, through, and along red sandstone canyons. It's absolutely beautiful. The holes are well organized, and...

Review by KansasBoy in course Fountain Hills Park

2.50 star(s) nothing special decent signs. baskets at every hole. grass throughout. almost like playing a real golf course. teepads are circular and rather small which makes for less run up than I like. Some teepads are actually just part of the side walk that goes around the park. I was not impressed at...
