Review by Matt in course Little Mulberry Park

4.00 star(s) What a Great Course So many... This course has the best amenities that I've ever seen at a course other than the IDGC. It features a beautiful pavilion very close to hole #1,a drinking fountain next to hole #1's teepad and some of the most detailed and accurate tee-signs I've seen. It also has...

Review by Matt in course NGCT - Original

4.50 star(s) A really great Course There is a great mix of lengths and lines and numerous memorable holes. This is definitely a great course for tournament play because there is a lot of room for scoring separation and it provides a challenge. This is because it really rewards good shots with it's...

New drive Technique - Right track?

I don't think what you are describing is helping your throw. It sounds like off axis torque. Discs don't make that phhhst sound without flutter unless thrown with much more speed than a valk going <300' would have.

Discs faster then its speed rating?

Actually rated speed is a relative number that indicates how well a disc will hold it's initial launch velocity. Discs are designed so that they perform well at a given speed range and so faster discs must perform well at a higher speed since they will be traveling fast for most of thier...

    [Innova] Classic Roc....You throw it?

I have two Champ Classic Rocs in the bag. One is a little more beat and I use it for straight and anhyzer short drives. The other is a bit more stable and I use it for straight to hyzer short drives and almost all approaches.

    [Innova] Valkyrie Plus?

The one on the left is the plus rimmed disc. The one on the right is the 150 Valk. They appear to be the same disc to me, just one has more dome.

    [Innova] Valkyrie Plus?

I know it's a VL+ because i held it and can easily feel the slanted rim. The pics are not the exact same angle but it's still pretty obvious that the VL+'s rim isn't straight.

    [Innova] Valkyrie Plus?

Here is a pic of a normal Valk And here is the Valk+ We only have the one haven't thrown it so I don't know how it flies.

    [Innova] Valkyrie Plus?

    Yeah exactly.

    [Innova] Valkyrie Plus?

No, but I'll take one tomorrow.

    [Innova] Valkyrie Plus?

Valkyrie + I work at a disc golf pro shop and we received a Valk + in our Innova order today. Neither the stamp nor the writing underneath differentiates it from a regular Valk but it has the plus rim. I'm guessing these will probably just fly under the radar like the EL's, but I suppose...

Question regarding flex shots versus understable drivers.

Flex shots are generally more predictable than turnover s-curves. I use flex shots way more often and reserve the turnovers for shots that must travel straight for a long ways before turning over. It's really essential to have both and adding in a forehand doesn't hurt either.

    overloaded terms: more stable

I can't believe this debate is still going on :( JimmyBob: "Yeah i hear they planted a few more trees on that overwooded par 4." Me: "Yep, it's less wooded now." LOL

    overloaded terms: more stable

Finally a good analogy that will put an end to all these people's arguments who have some weird agenda to redefine the term "more stable". Everyone knows that more stable means more overstable. Just like more wooded would mean more overwooded in optidicic's example. If you still can't accept...
