You'd be more than welcome out in the bay area/ central coast in California. Even if you couldn't find pros on a scheduled to coach you on every course, it would be easy to do a 4-7 day driving tour. Stafford lake (Marin), (optional, usually quite hot in summer for shady oaks in Sacramento)...
I think "trilogy" as a single manufacturer is pretty fair to include as one list since the pros for the seem to reach across brands. (thinking of this as Innova / Discmania / Millennium crossover as well.)
my Trilogy amateur 5:
Shield
Harp
Fuse
Felon
Saint
though I would be reasonable...
that looks like a winner for me, and very similar to the Warship profile. thanks for the photo... though now I know I might like all three of this year's offerings.

seems safe to assume the Pine is a step or two more stable than a Warship, but are we talking eMac truth or Verdict range? also I'm a fan of the fairway 'lite' rim shape of the verdict and Warship. am I in luck here with the Pine?

thanks, must be poor app integration with taptalk. great demo of what I have read elsewhere of John E moving from Wizards to Shields. (and my first viewing of the 2014 finish. that's a painful couple of holes to watch!)

have a friend that went from a diamond to Underworld for the understable to straight workhorse and loves it (probably max D of 270ish so seems it would fit the understable request). relay has been my pick for my most under stable fairway, and have a newish star leo for when I want to be sure it...
if you don't want to cycle, Panther is a pretty good comp for Fuse (I throw the Fuse, had a Panther only briefly)... mako3 or lycan might be useful in the stable position, and feel pretty close to the md3.

if you want more understable/ something to try flipping I'd stay slower (than the bolt) and go with the Fury or even an underworld. I've liked and bagged opto Saints and fluid Escape and found them to both be in the neighborhood of various Valks... more variation in weight/ plastic / wear than...
pretty much going to second the Sidewinder... probably in champ for more reliable fade. Leo or river for a little tighter line, but easier to set to the line (slower speed)

second recommendation I've seen in a week for the Warrant. the other came from local pro, and got to get my hands on one for the first time. it does feel more similar to the others DD mids, and since I like the wider feel... I might just try one if I ever decide to (have to) move on from my...
inbounds is my go to for flight graphs, though dynamic does have a chart on their website as well. Verdict is currently holding my OS mid spot, the Truth is a very popular stable mid and I have the Fuse (lat64 of course makes all Dynamic discs) for under stable.

MD3 isn't dissimilar, but it does have a small (tiny?) bead. rim of the MD3 otherwise feels quite similar, with near matching slopes above and below the wing. MD3 rim is a bit wider as well, or at least feels to be.
but if any sort of bead bothers you, I'd say try to get one in your hand...
