Here is the response I just got from USDGC.
The USDGC will definately return in 2011. It will be a handicap-based event open to a much broader group of people. Same course, Same experience. Lower entry fee.
Qualifying will also be handicap-based. The Piney Woods event will run as it...
Just got this of the USDGC face book
United States Disc Golf Championship Dates for next year's USDGC are confirmed for October 5-8, 2011. The first qualifying event is the Piney Woods Pro-Am in Tyler, TX on December 11 & 12, 2010. Details coming very soon at usdgc.com.
So have they changed...
I will use my Cro on a windy day. Like they said, what ever works. I went through a slump recently where I couldn't hit the 20-25ft put. So out of frustration, I would just chunk my boss at it. Guess what, no more misses from that distance. Pleople laugh but I don't care if they have to pay...

This is the copy of the news release I received in my email this morning. it was emailed to all the partners.
For immediate release:
August 25, 2010
This year marks the 12th anniversary of the United States Disc Golf Championship (USDGC). Since its inception in 1999, the USDGC has grown into...
It will raise more money, if you had a second year of Roc sales going towards it, just this year alone it raised 58K for sales to partners.
We really don't have a choice, it IS going to happen.
I think they are doing it this way so that they can have a much larger payout. This may be what it takes to get some media recognition. Lets say instead of Nikko getting 15K for 1st the winner gets 30K.
Not this year. Production was cut in half and the discs cost the partners $35 each, I wouldn't expect to see any regulars for less than $50 to $75. SInce the military rocs cost $70, you can expect to see those at $150 plus.
All of the partner's should receive their discs on Friday.
