I was stuck at about 280 for my max drive until I recently started slowing everything down. I am much slower on my "run up", way slower on my pull back and only accellerate once I have about 30% of my follow through left. It has really helped me create snap as well. I measured my last 2 throws...
I have been accused of throwing too many discs. Here is my bag...

Seriously though, I will keep trying different discs until I can get predictable results with them. I carry some discs just in case the wind picks up on the courses that I play. I...
So. After recovering from mono I have finally started playing DG again. A freind of mine bought me a black disc with no stamp on it from a company called DiscWing. It was a 175 driver that I didn't think would do much for me since I normally throw 150g - 165g. I gave it a throw and was stunned...
I got a bad case of posin Ivy last year and ended up needing a shot and antibiotics. I had it in my eyes, nose...everywhere. That's why I now have Ivy Block in my bag.
Mrs. got this for me for Fashas day along with a large Lightning bag and a gift card for a couple more discs.
Champ Leopard X-Out, 150
Buzz Pro D, 167
Star Valk, 163
Star Firbird L X-out, 161
Although not a purchase, I won a DX Roc 175 for closest to the pin in a tourney
Thanks guys. I went out yesterday and worked on an S-Curver and Hyzer Flip. I had more success with the S-Curve. I was able to throw my 150 Leopard (I know not the ideal disc for this) and got some great distance with an S-Curve but for the life of me could not flip it. I'm sure that my release...
I have bout about 3 per month the last 3 months. I will stop as soon as I find weight and stability that works for me. I finally stoped buying putters (Thanks Magnet and Aviar...although I held and XD and Rhino yesterday that I may end up buying. Crap!)
I haven't seen a place to post deals on the site so I thought I would put a couple I found. Feel free to post your own.

So, I have a few understable discs that I throw that any time I get decent distance (290-320) they go so far right, the drive is useless. I have decided to work on my hyzer flip technique but have yet to find any place that explains it in plain English. Anyone care to try? In particular, at what...
I had the identical problem earlier this year. I was never a good putter and would often miss 5 foot putts that other people would just toss in without thinking. I probably cost myself 5 shots per round not being able to putt and more trying so hard to get my approach within a couple of feet of...
I like DX plastic but I will turn most of the light ones over once they are beat in. Champ plastic is my favorite for the most part. I will say, I can pick up 5 DX discs for about 26 bucks online and that makes for an easy way to try out some discs I am interested in.
So, I tried my sons Aviar glow in the dark yesterday and I have to say, I like it more than my Magnet. He hates the disc and is putting with his Roc and a Lightning putter so he gave it to me. Score :)
I just looked at the posted video and it is a bit different than the Ken Climo push putt technique I am referring to, however; it looks like you would be able to get much more power using this than the push putt I was referring to. This looks more like a pitch putt. I will try to find the video...
No worries. I used to put anny as well but it was never very consistent. The push putt has shaved about 4-5 strokes off of my rounds. It took me about 3 or 4 days of practice before I could get a good release and kept the nose up which I still struggle with sometime, but man, this is way easier...
