How much distance is reasonable for an 8 year old.

Thanks, Sidewinder and Slow plastic, this is great info.!!

How much distance is reasonable for an 8 year old.

This is a video we made doing field work. We record one of the longer throws off the day. It's not his best at all, but I think with his current form and foot dragging is his distance back. I just want sure what is reasonable to expect, as we don't play with others his age. Most tourneys he's...

How much distance is reasonable for an 8 year old.

He has fun and loves it, and he's friends with pros and AMs. Everyone has taken under their wing and corrected any wrongs on and off the course. It's one of the reasons we love the sport

How much distance is reasonable for an 8 year old.

We're working on his form and distance but I have no clue what a reasonable distance is for an 8 year old. I know it's subjective but I don't see many other kids his age throw.

[Discraft] Avenger SS - Share Your Thoughts

One of the first drivers we bought when we started. It was also the first distance disc I could get to go right. It's a solid choice in the right plastic and weight. I haven't bagged one for years. I have ddx that took that understable distance driver spot now.

    [Discraft] Paul Mcbeth Luna review

I bought 2 to test then another 3 when I realized they simplified my bag and would help my score. Wanted 5 for the putting league and practice.. For what it's worth I previously putt S-line plastic, so I wasn't paying base plastic prices for putters either way. So far worth the purchase, but...

    [Discraft] Paul Mcbeth Luna review

UPDATE: Finished up the first week of Winter Marksman League with the Luna's Actually, I had 3 Luna, and 2 P2's as my last 2 Luna didn't ship until today. I had a few Open players, One former Jr World Champion, and One full ride sponsored player try the Luna and here is what happened. First...

    [Discraft] Paul Mcbeth Luna review

From what I can tell it's only on the blend plastics. You have to tilt the disc and look almost a straight profile and you can see these tiny raised dots. I can explain it this way. Just imagine a few grains of sand were on the top of the disc, then that disc received a slight rubber...

    [Discraft] Paul Mcbeth Luna review

Sorry if I confused you. The star (S-line) is way softer than the Luna. I'm used to the softer grip of the S line plastic so the Luna being firm is taking some getting used to. The Luna firmness is hard to explain. I guess the best way would be it's firmer than champion but not as firm as kc pro

    [Discraft] Paul Mcbeth Luna review

I've been putting S line plastic, and I live in the south so they are pretty soft by comparison. I do agree though I have felt much stiffer plastic in putters. As for putting in the wind. The putts were indoor, that's were the putting comparison is made. I'm also in a putting league and the...

    [Discraft] Paul Mcbeth Luna review

I've been checking YouTube daily, Google searching for something more in-depth than just throwing in a field with no comparison. Well, the weather was finally not wet and or freezing so I took a few discs out to the football field at lunch and this is my thoughts and review of the Luna. I took...

[Recommend] Help me pick a lightweight distance driver!

Lat64 Diamond in goldline plastic. I bag 2 great disc. Easy 300+ feet on a hyzer flip and very versatile once you learn to modulate your power.

[Recommend] Help me pick a lightweight distance driver!

Light weight champ Tern or light weight S-line DDX. Both are great drivers and come in light weights. I think you can get the DDX even lighter in c-line plastic. other suggestion would be a DX destroyer in light weights. They fly crazy good, but can get beat in quick.

    Newbie needs bag recommendation.

Fossa Tanna or Tana Pro http://fossadiscgolf.com/collections/fossa-bags I started 7 moths ago, I was like you playing practically everyday. My number of disc increased and I needed a larger bag. I bought a Magellan from Academy and it lasted 3 month with my day to day play. The PVC wouldn't...
