I think the Thief is much closer to an FD or TL than a Teebird. I say this from experience throwing Thiefs currently and Teebirds in the past. I love the Thief, but a new Dx Teebird should be more stable than a new Lucid Thief if the weights are equal(of course there are some rare exceptions).

I bag an FD AND have a TL as backup to it. Both Star plastic. Both are vastly more neutral than the Thief I had.

Maybe it was just that the Thief I had was a particularly overstable example, but it was WAY more overstable than the FD or TL. As it's the only Thief I ever owned, I can't say how it might compare to other Thiefs.
