Well, thanks for Hurricane Matthew destroying some people's private docks and then moving them to the road for junk, I was able to scrape up a TON of pressure treated wood to make benches and bridges for my home course. My club is pretty excited about it. FYI, hurricanes suck, I lost power for 2 days, but it's nice that things worked out the way they did.

Here's a couple photos. I'll post more in the coming weeks as I make more and I/we install them.

Sweet. Bring those to my course... :)

I was once able to terrace my folks slopey front yard in MS (where it rains torrentially at times) with pier timbers recovered after Hurricane Agnes is '85. My buddies who built a homemade course there recently also used boards recovered after Katrina for their benches, but yours look solid and attractive!

Thanks, the wood is really sturdy, but since big guys like myself might be sitting in them, there's easily 50 screws per bench to make sure they are solid. I'm glad the club was able to chip in and get some screws. I'll post more pics when I make more this week/weekend.

Well, I did some work this Saturday. 4 more benches and a bridge. If anyone needs plans, I can post them, pretty simple.
