that's a good point. I'm just laughing at how quickly the pDGA had a press release trying to ride Bubba's win as their own win for disc golf. And the pDGA altered his player page to remove the red "not current" jargon.
pDGA = 100% bottom feeders.
congrats to fellow disc golfer, Bubba on his win. We can only hope to have an event like the Masters for disc golf.
You work with what you've got in this life, and unfortunately our sport has to put lipstick on a pig. There are so few affluent supporters of discgolf that the PDGA needs to take every opportunity they can to latch onto a mainstream success like this. I say well done PDGA. Anything that helps bring our sport validation in the eye's of the general public is a plus.

how about that opportunity the pDGA took with ABC's happy endings? That sure made our sport look so professional </sarcasm>
Bubba is done with DG, he has a kid now. Once you have a kid DG is nothing but a memory.

T.hizzle has a real point here, most people stop playing (competitively that is, once they have a child)...not different than a lot of hobbies...
probably won't see much of t.hizzle either on the course after his kid arrives (congrats again, BTW). Probably won't stop DGCR posts, though.
i go to school full time.
Competitively? Yes, I'd have to agree wholeheartedly. If that's what Hizzle is referring to, then perhaps I missed his point.
Yes! Getting a couple of hours for a round is possible. However, getting very many full days to play touraments. Good luck!
ha no, feldberg isnt teaching at the UofO right now or i probably would be.What are you taking DG 101 with Feldberg?
