If it's marked "SD", then it's a FR for sure. Maybe they stamped it in '08. Kind of like the 2013 Asia Open "S/DS" marked Destroyers.

I thought most first runs were *D

most were *D and then there were SD,they did come out in 07' (pumpkin stamped stars said 2007 in the mouth) .if this black one is marked like the other blacks ive seen,its silver ink/sharpie.

the year isnt always a good indicator for a first run,old stock can always be stamped with later event dates. prime example is a ce aviar i had with a 2007 masters stamp. so,with all that said, this one is a first run for sure.

I looked it up on Japan open website these and the champs from the Japan open were made at the same time when the destroyer mold was being test run so it definately a first run.

no the pumpkin destroyers came out in 08. they said 08 in the mouth.
