I'm quite new to this game and only a couple months ago did I start to take this more seriously and try to get better. I was a major strongarmer before and have really tried to slow it down and stay more relaxed. Not really sure what to focus on next. Any pointers?

Granted, these throws are quite powered down, but I hope they work anyway.

Your first step with right foot is too backward and then you take a massive step behind turned all the way back, so your feet don't even crossover laterally, you are walking backwards into the plant and then start turning open before you plant. Your footwork needs to be almost the opposite, start facing more forward and working more backward going into the plant. The crossover step doesn't need to be long at all, just a small step behind to step out of the way for the front foot to stride forward unimpeded.

This is the first time I'm seeing myself throw on video and I noticed that as well. Had no idea I was doing that. Thanks for the pictures, they are very helpful! I'll get to work right away! :)

I've been working on my form from time to time since I posted the first post and I think the x-step is looking much better. I still feel I'm leaving a lot of power on the table. I can see that my reachback is a bit wonky but I haven't been able to fix that with good results. I also don't feel like I transfer the power from my lower body correctly and most of the time I feel like I'm strongarming.

I can throw 450 but it's most likely because I'm 6'5" and have a lot of athletic background because I don't feel my form is very good. My best results come when I really focus on relaxing and staying loose because a lot of times I tense up right from the peak of my reachback. Also thinking about standing a bit taller with a proud chest usually helps my results.

What should I focus on next?

(the last video is the newest, that's why I included it even though it's shot with a potato)

I might also add that I'm having a lot of problems with throwing too high, just like you can see in the potato video.

Looks like your upper arm/elbow are moving too separated from your shoulders. Keep your eyes on your disc, pay attention to what you do to the disc, turn your head back away from target. Need to aim with your feet/body, not your eyes.

You mean that I'm moving my upper arm in relation to the shoulder? IE closing/opening the angle in my shoulder too much?

I've watched a lot of slow mo videos of the pros and most of them doesn't seem to look at the disc in the reachback, but this is maybe a trick to fix incorrect head position more than something than you need to do? Or am I getting this wrong?

Ah okay I see, thanks a lot SW! I've been trying to fix this but have looked at it from a different view and haven't noticed the head/eyes being in the wrong position, hopefully this puts me on the right track! Thanks gor the picture, they help a ton!

I suddenly got the urge for working on my form some the start of this season, and thought I'd shoot some videos. I didn't really plan this, sorry for the portrait mode. Happy for some feedback.
