In the description it says that this disc floats, yet they're 170+ grams and G-Star plastic...why do none of their heavier discs (or G-Star) in any other mold not float?

In the description it says that this disc floats, yet they're 170+ grams and G-Star plastic...why do none of their heavier discs (or G-Star) in any other mold not float?

I think it's the shape of the specific mold, like the Wahoo. They just mold up less dense than most discs.

The overall volume is higher with the Hydra and Wahoo molds making the plastic density buoyant. If you've ever held a Hydra you can really tell it's a beefy sized rim.

Huh. I used to putt with a Hydra for a very short time period. Not sure why I was worried about floating putters. Needless to say, I didn't sink many putts.
