I'm cutting down but am I leaving holes in my bag?

This is my current minimalist set-up
170 star wraith (for thumbers)
173 z pred ( for side-arm mostly, but also comes in handy)
175 dx teebird
173 flx xl
175 star valkyrie
171 flx buzz
173 esp wasp
175 dx aviar

I think the XL is much less stable than the teebird... How would you compare it to a TL?

i think you're spot on. The XL flies very similar to a TL, IMO. I might get a max D disc (orc or something) unless you're comfortable throwing your Teebird most of the time.

Is there any type of shot you feel that you can't throw with those discs? I'm guessing probably not?

I just got back from a week long disc golf trip in michigan. I played courses from Ann Arbor up to the northern peninsula and found that I needed to simplify things further as I played harder courses. The results were great!

Revamped and tooled down:
1 z pred (hyzers/wind)
2 champ teebirds (straight/ predictable D)
2 champ eagle-x (one beat) (hyzer/ anny shots)
1 Dx leopard (Beat) (right turning holes)

1elite x buzz (straight)
1 esp wasp (stable mid)
1 flat-top roc ( absolutely thrashed)

3 max weight dx aviars ( for practice)

My updated bag...
1. Stable Control Drivers
champ teebird
star TL

2. Distance Drivers
champ wraith

3. Understable Driver
pro leopard

4. Moderately Overstable Driver
max weight champ eagle-x

5. Very Overstable Driver
z pred

Mids:
2 KC Pro Roc
1 rancho
1 thrashed flat top

Putters:
dx aviar
