I used to have an Ultimate disc that turned purple in the sun[about 1 minute], but reverted to white in the dark.

A transition spectacle lens which requires UV to stimulate its tinting won't ever change in a car. Never expected to see that on a disc in a car!

I knew of this like most others happening outside with some of those pinks, but so little UV gets in through windshields (pretty sure its small amounts of UV A and next to no B or C). Must be REALLY sensitive for that to occur in the car.
