Positive, got skinned alive when DD released them.

"first run" Z Zones were Blue (varied from somewhat lighter to a little darker), Watermelon (varied from redish to a pinkish), clear(ish) and black.

Orange and a few other colors came out with the next or current "runs" I don't think DD ever sold them as "first run" even on the first release. They were/are sold as Limited Edition. I've got 1 or more each of all the first release limited edition zone colors and a handful, or so, of the glow Z with some cryztal flx and cryztal sparkle thrown in for good measure.

Just letting you know, you can change it or not.

Not looking to get into a debate here. Evidently my camera didn't capture the "watermelon" color well enough. Being a true believer in the awesomeness of the Zone, there is no doubt in my mind that the first time it was released in Z plastic I was all over it.

You're correct that there was never a "first run" but rather a not-particularly "limited edition." I haven't thrown any of the later "limited edition" runs, so I can't speak to a difference in quality if one exists. My personal experience/opinion is that producers tend to cheap out on the plastic quality in popular molds with later runs, and so I noted that this was a first run.

My apologies if I confused anyone with my efforts to be specific. I'll pull it from the sale if it is going to cause an issue.

No issue bud, was just clarifying. I would hate for someone to get it and it be really "orange" and call it out as not being a "first run" which they'd be expecting. If it is watermelon then it could be. To me ... there is a slight difference in the feel of the plastic first runs being a hair flexy/gummier than what most people think of when they're thinking about "Z" plastic. The later runs are closer to what I would call Z plastic and the glow Z's are dead on. In terms of stability the earlier ones are a bit less OS which leads to them staying straight longer and going a bit further than the more OS Zones.
