I was there. I bought 2. A friend and I discussed buying many more.

"There are currently no plans for another run of Champion Edition Rocs."

Just think if you bought all 1588 of them for $25 how much you coulda made?

1588 x $25 = $39,700.

If you sold them for an average of $250 today that's $397,000. Net profit of $357,300...sweet.

One the 2001's I have has a red spot on it. Think it's from being stored next to a red disc, or is it possible some first-run red CE plastic was in the mix when they molded it? The spot goes all the way through the disc.

I bought one in Minneapolis that year. Would have bought several more but they only took cash and I didn't come prepared. It's currently hanging on my wall and NSF.
