It's pretty easy to find the unapologetic course baggers but who has the highest quality of courses played with 50 or more ?

Last time I checked, I believe I had the highest average review rating of all the TRs. That could mean I'm a course slut, or I bag mostly high end escorts. ;)

Mattalica is well known to be a course snob

Ha. Not suprised...but how did you figure that out ?

Because he brags about it all the time. Think his average is around 3.7 or so

Yea, but most people don't review every course they play...and some don't review any.

I checked all the TR's average ratings vs mine, I think I did that in the fall or early winter.
Scratch the review bias. I went by course rating overall averaged. I only did diamond and gold level though. Too many bronze reviewers to do the math for me, probably would be beat by one or a few of them.

Yep, that's a lot of math to figure out. You would have to subset people in number of courses played. There are lot of people that have played 50 courses, much fewer over 100. The less courses played, the easier to have the highest average rated played. TR's are easy to track because not many have played and reviewed over 50 or so. You can pretty much throw out all the diamond reviewers and most of the gold reviewers. And likely anybody played over 200 courses unless your are sub-setting them which are the easiest to figure out because not many have played or reviewed that many.

I always thought it would be interesting to place a numerical value on courses based on rating,# of holes and maybe even length.

Man, I'm beat from this weekend. I went through all the diamond, gold and silver reviewers. Just not bronze.

Does your wife know about this?

Actually this is just a sidebar to the big question...how do you inject more info into the final rating ?
I thought that's what review's are for. Not everything can be expressed by the numbers, sometimes it's just a fuzzy feeling thing. I do wish we could rate 1/4 disc increments though.

Are we trying to make objective sense out of numbers based on subjective opinions again?

Redundant. The best predictor of Rating is number of holes. The best predictor of length is also number of holes.

I don't know about all that, and I haven't reviewed any courses, but I figure it would be hard to play a higher rated first hundred some courses than I have.

Not sure if this on topic or not....my last 4 reviews have all been 4.5 stars (in VT, TN, KY and WI) and no where close to where I live on the east coast. Is this 'clean'?
