Me? I'm thinking back to the am world doubles clinic where Uli threw my putter a country mile and it sounded like a jet doing a fly by.
Sounds like a fun experience.

250'-280' range, depending on wind and elevation.
Of course, if I was having trouble throwing my putter, wouldn't you suggest I take my putter to a field and throw it, not say, a Firebird, right?
I understand this is a competative game, but stop giving people bad advice in throwing PUTTERS to help their driving distance. It's like telling people in ball golf to practice on the putting green, and that will help their Driver game.
I hint at you being correct had you changed some wording...

So, Stud Muffin. Let's say you have a 300' downhill hole with an island green. Any disc that remotely skips will send you into OB. Does driving a putter seem like bad advice now?
You throw something really fast and have it tombstone next to basket... duh!
Obviously. Throwing a Firechicken wouldn't help you with form in any way other than maybe OH.
Except for the fact that you throw disc the same way. The grip might be different but that is all. You don't hit a shot off the tee box in anyway similar to the way you hit one on the green.

Nope not at all.
But telling someone to go into a field and throwing their putter will help them throw their drivers is incredibly bad advice.
