What would you recommend to replace a discraft archer? I use it as my forehand replacement/anny shots. Got a beat in E matrix but it isn't enough(it still has fade). Should i stick with the archer or try a vertex etc?

Archer is a tweener disc with very good glide. It sits (at least my Z Archer did fresh) right between the Relay and the Signal.

So... my Relay beat into a fresh Z Archer slot. If you are using a Big Z Archer, i would go Signal. If Z Archer, go Relay.

Well i already bag a relay but i use it for longer distances. Its a esp ace race one. I guess ill stick to it for now and cross my fingers for some new mids in the future.

Vertex is OOP anyway... and I think the Ace Race Archer is quite a bit more understable than the Z. I would give the Signal a shot.

As the Relay beats in, it becomes much more workable powered down. I have a Relay cycle started, it took a year to beat in nice and understable, but I do not need to bag the Archer anymore.

Plus, for my hands, the Relay just feels nicer.

I had the signal in the past and it could be good match. It was a get out of trouble disc for me. Still i would rather not change to a faster disc.

This is exactly what I bag the Signal for. It got me an easy par on a very difficult par 5 the other day b/c I had to throw a really high anny FH and let it glide out hard left. You can't throw those flat and have them not turn over hard.

You get you a purple/yellow Axiom disc yet…:D

Oh, and you're welcome for OSU sending our backup QB down to Baton Rouge.;):p

Pleased with my Entropy so far after my 1st round. Feels good for FHs, enough OS I think to pull off the lines I got it for.

Played a really wooded course today and threw my Stabilizer and Neutron Particle in the bag for the heck of it. Okay discs but I remembered why I never bagged them. The Envy just outshines them. :\

Found one of those new cosmic neutron Volts in the shelf, bright blue-red so had to pick it up, holy shet its beefy for my weak arm, more meat than the one neutron Shock I've tried.

Pairs nicely with my beat up plasma though(hope those stay as they are and dont gain more stability in the future)

Anybody heard anything yet about when MVP is going to release any info at all about these "modern" molds they are supposedly going to be rolling out this year? Getting a little anxious over here.....been eyeing up some discraft mids.....

They had "modern" mids... and no one wanted them. I do expect they will be bringing out some big diameter old school mids when the new line is released.

Too late for so many of us. It seems that every one I know that bags MVP drivers and putters carry Discraft mids... might be a clue on what they need to do.

Hmph. I carry Innova and Vibram mids. :D

I don't care if the new mids are large diameter or small. I just hope they produce discs I can use.

I used the term "modern" as that's something I heard them refer to them as. Was hoping somebody had a lead on something. I'm not real plugged in to the world of the flying plastic circles. Get most of my news here.

Gonna have to start browsing the discraft boards.......

How do you feel the envy compares to the particle, flight wise? I have been contemplating a switch.
