First Ace of the year. Hole 7 at Tumble Tree in Opelika. Went and bought a shark3 last weekend mainly for this hole. About a 250 ft hyzer shot that skipped in.
My first attempt using this dye technique. This a star Tern that i had already stencil dyed a week ago. I used idye mixed with laundry detergent for all the colors. My bed was dishwasher gel. The bed wasn't quite big enough because there are still some light blue spots around the edge, but still...
My first three dyes. Pretty proud of how they turned out. Couldn't have done it without all the helpful info found on this site. Can't wait to switch to vinyl instead of contact paper and see if I can stop the bleeding, but for now I'll call it character.

It was prodigy 400 series plastic. I washed with hot water and dawn dish soap really well before. I think i might try to get ahold of some good vinyl here pretty soon and try that. i might also try a cold dip and see if I get the same results as the first one.
I ended up using contact paper after reading that some people use it without a problem and it was a cheaper alternative, but it was hard to cut detailed lines without "pulling" the paper.
