Moderately wooded and lots of hiking. Please wear proper footwear & plan clothing accordingly for changing mountain weather. Sunscreen, lots of water & snacks are recommended.

Local Directions:

From Denver: Take I-70 west to Silverthorne (exit 205), then travel 12 miles east on U.S. Highway 6. Or, choose the 68 mile scenic route from Denver by taking I-70 west to Loveland Pass (exit 216), then proceed west on U.S. Highway 6 for 8 miles. When Loveland Pass is closed access to the ski area is still available on Highway 6 from I-70 at the Silverthorne exit.

Walk through the small base area village and start up the Argentine Trail, left of the chairlift. Hike past the first switchback and the first tee is on the right.
