Old school natural course 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 25, 2019 Played the course:once

Pros:

Mostly open natural object course on the grounds of a YMCA camp. Fields are mowed and most of the holes avoid populated areas. Navigation is easy: hole 1 is right by the main parking lot. A small sign on a post indicates the tee area including direction arrow and yardage and a big white sign with the hole number is attached to the target (a post, tree, or power pole). The next tee is usually next to or in sight.

Cons:

If you must have baskets and tee boxes to play, then you won't be comfortable here. But back in the day, this was the way the sport was played, and all of the disc golf elements are here. You are supposed to be a Y member to play, but I wasn't asked for my card even though I did check in at the office.

Other Thoughts:

A fun easy course to play when the other course in town (Panthorn) is too wet.
