Another Branson course that is free to play.
-OK teesigns (look at other thoughts)
-Decent quality, bright pink baskets (I didn't recognize the manufacturer, but Innova Discatcher-type baskets)
-Restroom/water available in community center located on the property.
-Short drive to Branson Landing

-No maps
-Poor flow
-You might run into other (ball) golfers even though the (ball) golf course if almost non-existent.
-Poor drainage, with natural tee pads.

Ok, this course interested me because I only knew Sunset Park as the only free course in Branson, but with no reviews, I was hesitant to even try this course. Easy to get to from Shepard of the Hills Expway, and plenty of parking in front of the community center. Hole 1 is located behind the shed along the treeline. I thought this course was going to be fantastic based on stepping up to the first hole. Tee signs were helpful, especially marking old golf greens and bunkers as hazards/ob, but they didn't have any distances. There are little, wooded sign posts about a foot off the ground that said par 3, 520 feet. I didn't think it was quite that far, but set up as a quality disc golf hole non the less. Duct tape posted on the basket's band pointed to hole 2. Here is where it got tricky. The tee sign for two was wrong, and where it was posted forced you to throw over 1's basket and you can only see hole 4?'s basket. There are more of those little wooden sticks ( supposedly alternate tee locations) next to another basket, and really all over the course with hole#, par and distance, but not exactly pointing to where you should be throwing. The baskets weren't marked with numbers, either. We ended up throwing to a basket twice, and one basket never got thrown to, just cause we were trying to figure out the flow. There are 9 baskets, but only 5 or 6 tee signs, and some didn't seemed lined up correctly to what you are looking at. Ponds come into play, and a drainage overflow swamp might come into play on 3???. The ball golf greens are just sand and weeds, but a couple of Bransonites came out to practice their chipping on to a "green" near 9's basket, so even though the ball golf course isn't really there, you still might see golfers.
-The baskets seem in decent spots, so a redesign isn't necessary, but a map and correctly updated tee signs would make this the go to course in Branson, but until then, good luck figuring out this course.
