Pros:

- Harrison Fitness Trail is a small, nine hole course in a large multiuse park. The disc golf section is for the most part separated from the rest of the park's activities. Rubber pads, tee signs, and baskets complete the experience.
- Mostly open shots are broken up by the rare trees on hole #'s 4, 7, and 8. #7 is a short ace run with a nice set of trees protecting the green a bit. #8 shoots through a tunnel of pine out into the open.

Cons:

- Rubber tees are slippery as a greased eel at tax time in the rain.
- Several baskets look like they've been on the wrong end of a fight or two.
- Course is all up on itself. #3 and #9 are all up in each other's business. #5 throws directly over #4's basket, watchout! Come to think of it, hole #'s 5 and 6 prolly ain't friends, either.
- Goose poop.

Other Thoughts:

- Some days discing is a glorious affair of exploration, discovery, and fun. Other days it's slogging through the rain at courses like Harrison Fitness Trail wondering why the hell you're not doing something else with your time.
