Pros:
Very clean, easy to navigate from basket to basket. Liked the turf covered tee boxes. Challenge for park will be to replace it when needed. Course used what elevation was there. And the usual, great signage.
As stated previous, hole #4 was nicely landscaped, while #9 was an elevated basket. And, yep, #8 was oddly positioned behind a chain link fence. That said, there's 3 memorable holes to the course.
Cons:
None. If you look at the site and scorecard before you go, you are not surprised at the length. If you don't want a short course, don't go and then call it a con. For me a con is something that you didn't expect to be a negative when you got there. OK, got that off my chest!!
Other Thoughts:
Am hanging in Chicago for a few weeks on a job assignment... trying to get as many courses in as possible...
Went there expecting to be disappointed and was pleasantly surprised.
Definitely enjoyed playing there.... I was behind a slow player, so I threw two discs off the tee and played each one through. Knew it was a short course, and used that opportunity to work on the mid range game.
All that said, I can't give more than the 2.5, but again it was fun!!
