Reviewed: Played on:Aug 5, 2018 Played the course:2-4 times

Pros:

+Well maintained course
+Map of whole course at start
+Concrete tee pads with plaque in the pad of current hole. Displays map, par, and yardage.
+Next tee signs in basket

Cons:

-Every shot is a straight shot. Literally every shot.
-Relatively short course, especially during football season.
-Many hazards being a multi use park.

Other Thoughts:

Kitchle park has done a great job of fitting an 18 hole course inside the city. However, the trade-off is losing diversity. Every shot here was a straight shot to the basket. The tree coverage does make for some thinking and short throws, but nothing here is really an obstacle in the way.

The park has also done a great job of making it clear where each basket is, and where the next one is, even during football season. Baskets 9-14 are moved during JFL football, and the next tee signs were no longer accurate, but the map at the begining of the course was correct.

The course plays through and around multiple hazards. All around are roads for driving and walking, which means you have to be alert of your surroundings. Holes 6 and 7 play next to a country club, and holes 15-18 play over or around water. Not sure if there is any way to retrieve lost disc from the water, seems pretty deep.

Overall, the guys at the park have done a good job of fitting a DGC in an area that desperately needs more. They have done a good job of keeping things interesting with a few Mando's and OB's, but overall a very straight forward, short course that doesn't provide much diversity.
