Low-ceiling off the tee limits your distance on this 400'+ hole. Best shot off the tee is generally a low line out into the wide open left side of the fairway. The same creek that ran alongside hole 7 follows hole 8 all the way to the short placement (423'). When the pin is in B or C placement, you have to cross the creek on your approach. The trees on the opposite side of the creek add to the difficulty of the approach shot.

Small creek runs along the right side of this otherwise wide open hole from start to end. The biggest obstruction is the creek that bumps out into the fairway about 50' before the long pin's green. The wide open left side is the typical landing zone when the attempted turnover fades out early. The creek can be hard to see from the tee, but is definitely big enough to loose your disc. Common play from the tee is RHFH or RHBH turn over with a fairway driver.

Large water carry right off the tee. The ideal LZ is across the lake on top of the levee. If you go beyond the LZ, there is a gradual, but massive drop off before thick rough. The short placement is on the side of the huge hill with the edge of the lake just outside circle 1. B placement is at the bottom of the hill and easier to reach due to the flat green. That said, the green is surrounded by OB lake on top, rocks at the back, and OB creek right/long. Safe and level landing zones are helpful on this hole, but require precise distance control to reach.

Beautiful but challenging hole with the signature lake along the left side and a small pond just to the right of C placement. Short placements are easier, but still require a technical shot to account for the right to left elevation change, water hazard, and rough on the right side of the fairway.

There are 2 short placements and 2 long placements which came from combining 2 legacy holes. The short placements are accessible from a gap that is about 250' off the tee. The short placements are reachable on the drive, but you need precise accuracy @ 300' as the gap to the green is only about 40' wide. The long placements are down the hill. There is a 30-40' gap from the short green to the long green, but it is difficult to access through many small trees. Players with 500'+ distance can reach the long placements from the tee on a hyzer. Players with lesser distance should consider laying up to the gap and trying a hyzer over the rough to access the second green. Precise accuracy and distance are needed to score on this hole.

Mostly blind fairway due to elevation and rolling hills in front of the tee pad. A placement is in the open, on the hill, so if you land above the pin, you have a lot of elevation to contend with on the putt. B placement is tucked into the woods and guarded well by multiple trees. C placement is down the hill and at the edge of a small lake. The fairway narrows considerably on the way down the hill to C placement and the lake is always right in front of you as you putt and approach. Water only comes into play when the basket is in C placement.

Relatively short hole, both placements up a small hill. Left side rough is difficult to penetrate. A straight shot will reach A placement, but need a lefty turnover or righty hyzer to reach B placement.

RHBH perspective: Short placements are easy to reach with a putter turn over or flick a stable putter. C placement is a little harder as it involves going over a small ravine and up a hill.
