Pros:

- Excellent use of natural elevation changes, most holes have some elevation
- Lots of OB to challenge you on an otherwise open course
- A wide variety of hole distances from medium difficult par 3 to difficult par 4 holes
- Excellent course for those who have a big arm and want to show it off
- Fantastic infrastructure, baskets, tee pads, tee signs and next tee arrows all in working order
- Lots of risk/reward and decision making
- Nice looking park and surrounding area
- Grass is just short enough for rollers

Cons:

- Fairways are close together so keep your head on a swivel
- Less obstacles than what I would prefer
- Greens are slow, would like some bald areas to challenge upshots more
- 18 feels like too many holes, perhaps 14 or 15 would be more appropriate
- Some holes are just throw it as hard as you can and accuracy is less important

Other Thoughts:

I wasn't expecting much from this place based on reviews. I was in the area and waiting for a friend so we could go play some courses together and happened to be close by to here and I am glad I stopped in. I usually enjoy more wooded courses but I'm also a sucker for big downhill holes like hole 1 was. I think this is a very solid course for this area and is probably one of the better courses in the greater Boise/Nampa area.

Pros:

Plenty of length, elevation, baskets with trouble close, mango's in play to create some challenge, lots of tight fairways, several wide open chuck and duck holes.

Cons:

if its windy, you might consider playing somewhere else, the tight holes are somewhat ridiculous with a strong wind
