Pros:
Incredible shot variety. Extremely challenging OB and mandos. Highly useful/informative tee signs. Wind and elevation come into play on pretty much every hole. The grass does a great job of stopping the disc. This really comes in handy, considering that A. The fairways are generally quite narrow B. Most play is not on flat ground. This really rewards accurate placement shots, and super aggressive putting.
Cons:
Young park. Trees need time to grow.
Hole 18 is uncomfortably close to a large, busy playground. Lots of little kids can easily become unintentional targets if you don't correctly play the wind. That's really the only hole i have an issue with the design of, though. A couple of the 700'+ par 4s are legitimately 5s - holes 9&11, most notably.
Other Thoughts:
Sarah Hokom did a fantastic job of designing a super challenging, serious TPC. In a not-so-huge park, she still managed to squeeze in a lot of really long shots. I think most of the ratings here are from rec/int players who can't appreciate the complexity of the course. Being as far from Boise as it is, I think it gets overlooked for eagle island and ann morrison, which are more convenient for most of the local scene players.
Best course in greater Boise, hands down.
