MAM Army Depot Ace Run , Ready For Detonation , Sir 2+ years drive by

Reviewed: Played on:May 14, 2021 Played the course:once

Pros:

There are 9 functional baskets in an small rectangular area .
Every basket is true ace run , but maybe 1 .
You can't lose your disc .
The grass is cut and the grounds are flat . Easy on the legs .
can take 15 minutes to play

Cons:

No pads , or signs or direction , or challenge . Some obstruction on a back hole , and a basket sits atop a small hill .
Both courses are grouped in a pay to play , but I am unsure as to what they are charging ( Man at the desk tried charging $10 ) .

Other Thoughts:

If The Joker , in his movie ( The Joker ) played MAM Army Depot Ace Run , he would say " What do you get when you cross 9 random baskets with 15-20 minutes of your wasted time , after reading this review ? You Get What You Deserve !! " I am not sure if MAM Army Depot really qualifies as a course . I have played Ace Run courses before , but they have tee pads , and even basic signage . This place plays basket to basket , but even then , there is nothing to signify where to throw from . Does an ace really count if you just throw from wherever ? The office that you must check in with is going to charge you to play here ( you won't have the option to " donate " ) , counting the Veterans Golfplex . Some of that cash should go to some turf or rubber tees . I have a feeling that even the baskets are embarrassed to be here . They know that even if they figure out a way to scale a 7' chain link fence with barbed wire at the top , they would get mugged before they made it to the road ( tough area ) . This should not take away from the fact that the clubhouse and general fence lined area are occupied by military veterans . I know I'm joking around about The Ace Run , but please respect the people that bravely served our country ( Thank You ) .I gave the Ace Run a .5 only because of this and because it accompanies a real course next to it .
MY ( NON ) RECOMMENDATION - If you have a 6 year old that tagged along with his parent all during a round at the Veteran's Golfplex , and wish to play some holes with them on an easy course , or if you are a course bagger wanting to pick up a quick extra course , this is for you . If you are anyone else that plays here , well , there are 15-20 minutes that you will never get back . PLAY THE OTHER COURSE , LEAVE , AND DON"T FORGET TO LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS .

Don't waste your time 2+ years

Pros:

Baskets are new and in good condition.

Cons:

No tee pads or even worn spots to indicate where you MIGHT be expected to tee from. The 9 baskets are jammed into an area more suited for 3-4 holes, and there are no obstacles.

Other Thoughts:

If you want to practice putting and short approach shots, this might be a good place to go. Otherwise, don't bother.
